Mary Chineye Nweke is a Nigerian author passionate about advocacy for the voiceless, the preservation of African culture, and the dynamics of family and identity.
Beyond her writing, she is a mentor, researcher, and communications professional, bringing a thoughtful and analytical lens to the stories she tells. Her work is deeply influenced by real-life experiences, often exploring themes that sit at the intersection of personal truth and societal expectation.
Originally from Ohaukwu Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Mary has travelled extensively across Nigeria—visiting over twenty-six states—to immerse herself in the country’s diverse cultures and lived realities. These experiences shape the authenticity and richness of her storytelling.
She currently resides in Ibadan, where she continues to write, reflect, and build meaningful narratives.
